TRAVEL: PREPARING FOR LAS VEGAS
I'm 30 days out from my Vegas Vacation! I go to Vegas at least once a year. Sometimes with friends
& sometimes with family. But what gets me each time is what do I pack? I'm sure i'm not the only one who massively over packs to the point I'm at the 50 lb limit, which means no shopping. And like most folks, I over pack because I'm just not sure what I want to wear while there. How many dresses do I need for nights out? Do I want to wear dress or shorts while sight seeing? How many purses are too many for 4 days? For as many times as I've been, I've finally started organizing myself properly. If you've never been, here's a few suggestions on what to bring with you on a 3 nights/ 4 day trip. The key is 2- 3 pairs of shoes you can wear with multiple outfits (i'd suggest sandals, tennis shoes, & 1 pair of heels). One good dress for a night out. A casual dress (or 2) for hanging at the hotel or on the strip and a comfy set of shorts for when you go sight seeing. I'd also say 2 purses (1 to carry for day & 1 for going to the clubs) and I'd make sure all purses are crossbody bags with zippers & snaps to make it harder for others to break in to. Maybe a tote for the pool as well to carry sunnies, sunblock & reading material. And last but not least, make sure you have a good pair of sunnies. Yes, most of your time will be spent indoors, but when you are going from hotel to hotel outside, it is so important to keep your eyes protected from the sun! But the most important thing to remember to bring with you to Vegas, energy! This city is full of life and you will have a great time!
Places to Visit in Vegas:
1. Bellagio Fountains (no matter how many times I go, I still love watching the fountains)
2. Secret Pizza at Cosmopolitan Hotel (google it!!)
3. Neon Graveyard (Also known as the Neon Museum-bring a camera- day/night tours available)
4. Blueman Group or O (I've seen them both and neither disappoint)
5. The High Roller at the Linq (I'm scared of heights, but the full view of Vegas makes it worth it)
